SARAH RUEF-LINDQUIST

Sarah is an alumna of Southern Methodist University and the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. She holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation of the Institute of Certified Bankers and since 2016 works as a financial advisor at Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden. Sarah is a Financial Advisor offering securities and Advisory Services offered through Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, SIPC, a Registered Investment Adviser.

She is passionate about giving back to her community, the environment and social justice. During her career as a lawyer, wealth manager, financial and philanthropic advisor, consultant and non-profit executive she founded and served on the boards of a multitude of non-profit organizations. She has served as CEO of the Maine Women’s Fund and as VP for Southern Maine of the Maine Community Foundation, Sr. Administrative Trust officer at Union Trust and Founder and Sr. Consultant of Planning for Good. 

She founded a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in seacoast New Hampshire, and served on the boards of the State Theater, 75 State Street, Maine Planned Giving Council, Abbe Museum, Georges River Land Trust, Friends of Midcoast Maine, Camden Conference on World Affairs, Maine Justice Foundation, Pine Tree Society, Maine Philanthropy Center, World Ocean School, Apprenticeshop, Portland Rotary, West Bay Rotary and Unity College. She has served as an advisor to New Ventures, Maine and Avesta Housing, and on the City of Portland Planning Board, and the Parks and Recreation Committee for the Town of Camden. She is the first female member of the board of directors of Rockland Savings Bank. She is a member of the National and Ragged Mountain Ski Patrol at the Camden Snowbowl. An avid cyclist and sailor, she lives in Camden with her Maine native husband, Peter.
