Laura has lived in Maine for over 25 years. She graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Philosophy and later gained her Elementary Teaching Certification via a post-grad program at Fort Lewis College.
Throughout her career, she has consistently weaved education and the outdoors into her daily work: for the past 19 years, she has served as the Administrative Director of the Watershed School; prior to that, she worked as Education Program Manager for a local youth community garden, the Education Director for a rare breeds conservation farm.
Laura has been an active PSIA Level III Certified Alpine Ski Instructor since 1994. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, and helping to create lifelong ski enthusiasts at the local ski hill.
