Blue Door is an example of the cabins available for faculty, instructors, some adult programs and special visitors. There are several like it scattered throughout the island. There are 3-5 beds in these cabins and there is no running water or electricity. Windows can be opened and have screens.

The Mess Hall is an indoor dining and lounge space utilized during cold and inclement weather. It is attached to our kitchen and staff offices are above. There is a wood stove and couches.

We have 2 yurts on our campus. These are typically used for student dorms and come outfitted with cots or bedframes.

The Swallow’s Nest is hosts our main solar array, a classroom/presentation space, and bunks for program participants.

The lower outhouse facility uses a Clivus Multrum composting system. This outhouse is closest to the main pier and mess hall.

The showerhouse higher up the campus is closer to our program sleeping areas. It has solar heated water tubes for hot showers, as well as individual stall restrooms and communal sinks. This outhouse also uses a Clivus Multrum composting system.
